Hotasi Nababan
Airport and Aviation expert
Hotasi Nababan is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience across the service and infrastructure sectors, including aviation, logistics, energy, construction, and travel. He has held multiple leadership positions in ground handling including CEO of PT. Jasa Angkasa Semesta (JAS), where he strengthened partnerships with domestic and international airlines to drive traffic and cargo volumes.
He brings deep expertise in airport planning and development, grounded in his research under Prof. Richard de Neufville at MIT, and has led initiatives spanning international cargo, ground handling, and passenger services at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK). Previously, he served as Vice President of PT. Cardig Aero Services, where he led the Airport Business unit’s expansion into advisory, commercial management, and airport operations.
His earlier experience includes leading roles at Quvat Private Equity, where he managed a US$500 million portfolio across infrastructure and transportation investments, and at Merpati Nusantara Airlines, where he served as CEO. He began his aviation career at Garuda Indonesia as a Corporate Planning Manager. Hotasi earned his MS in Civil Engineering and Technology Policy from MIT
Sutan is a leading expert in business development and brand strategy with a strong foundation in finance and extensive experience in the aviation and service industries. He began his career at Deutsche Bank before advancing into key roles across airlines, logistics, aviation training, service blueprinting, service culture, brand valuation, brand management, sales management, and talent development.
With deep insight into Indonesia’s diverse industrial landscape, Sutan has successfully analyzed market trends and provided strategic direction across sectors. He played a pivotal role in launching new airline routes through partnerships with local governments, significantly contributing to regional economic growth. His impact and leadership earned him the position of Director of Business at KADIN.
Currently, he serves as Director at Brand Finance, a global consultancy specializing in brand valuation and strategic branding. Sutan holds a Doctorate in Marketing and a Master’s in Planning & Public Policy from the University of Indonesia, and a Bachelor’s in Management from the State University of Jember.

Dony Suherman
Sr Business Development
Dony is a graduate of Industrial Engineering from ITB with over 20 years of experience in Indonesia’s aviation industry, specializing in business development, finance, marketing, and human capital. He began his career at Merpati Airlines, where he managed procurement and finance functions, and later played a key role in the establishment and expansion of West Java International Airport (BIJB) Kertajati.
His career advanced through strategic positions, including at PT CAS Dirgantara where he contributed to business development efforts, and at IAS, where he led major human resources restructuring as part of the Airport Holding for Business Support. At Batam Aero Technic, he served as General Manager of Organization and Business Development, successfully expanding aircraft maintenance capacity through feasibility studies, strategic tooling investments, and workforce planning—positioning Batam as one of Indonesia’s most promising MRO centers.
As a senior advisor to Hexa Daya Nalar Consulting, Dony provided technical and financial guidance for the development of MRO zones at Dhoho International Airport (DHX) in Kediri. He worked to align airport infrastructure with OEM and airline needs, while ensuring regulatory and investor requirements were met. At BIJB Kertajati, he led the integration of MRO zones into the broader Aerocity plan, engaging stakeholders such as aircraft manufacturers, airlines, and maintenance providers to support long-term narrow-body aircraft maintenance demand. His leadership reflects a deep commitment to establishing Indonesia as a competitive regional MRO hub.
